What are the operational groups?

Operational Groups of the agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI) are instruments to disseminate innovation in the agri-food and forestry sector which aim to identify innovative solutions to specific problems or to promote opportunities for agricultural business. The creation of the OGs is financially supported by the Rural Development Programmes of the CAP under the sub-measures 16.1 and 16.2.

Being a group, they aim at stimulating partners from different backgrounds (farmers, researchers, farmers organization, advisors, media) to collaborate, to find innovative solutions to existing challenges farmers are confronted with.  Thus, the group is composed of key stakeholders who are among the most effective in realising the project’s goals, shareing implementation experiences and disseminating the outcomes broadly.
